What we collect
Your scout name, email address and country; your language setting; every report you file (ratings, notes, value estimates); how much of each clip you watched and when; notifications we sent you; and, only if you allow analytics, how you use the app.
Why we use it
To run the game: assign players, calculate scores and rankings, show you feedback and send the emails you choose. To keep the game fair: detect automated or careless submissions. To improve Crowdscout: aggregate, anonymised usage analysis.
Legal bases
Performance of our contract with you (running the game), your consent (analytics cookies, optional emails) and our legitimate interest in keeping the game fair and secure.
Your notes and AI processing
The text of your reports is processed by an AI language model to extract opinions about players and to assess depth. Your name is not sent with the text. The model provider does not use your text to train its models.
Who we share it with
Service providers who host our systems, deliver email, process report text and, with your consent, measure usage. They act on our instructions. We do not sell your data and we do not show advertising.
Where it is stored
Our servers are in the European Union. Where a provider processes data outside the EU, we rely on standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile and email are erased within 30 days; your reports remain in the crowd rating without any link to you.
Your rights
You can export your data and delete your account from Settings at any time. You can also ask us to correct or restrict your data, or object to processing, by emailing To be confirmed before launch. You may complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Crowdscout is for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger; if we learn we have, we delete it.
